Seattle–Tacoma Airport wellness finds to stay healthy & catch a moment of relaxation

Healthy food

Wolfgang Puck’s

This reliable menu features hand-crafted gourmet pizzas, sandwiches, soups and fresh salads, including Wolfgang’s famous Chinois Chicken™ salad and other Wolfgang Puck classics.

Breakfast is served daily and includes two kinds of breakfast pizzas. (Yes, breakfast pizza!) The best part is all menu items can be carried on your flight.

Location: Post-security, in Concourse C.

Floret

In a hurry but still, want a great meal on the plane? Stop by Floret’s grab-and-go counter for one of their daily-made quiches. They also have breakfast sandwiches to go.

This fully vegetarian spot also offers a full-service sit-down restaurant providing respite for weary travelers. All their food is made on-site with locally sourced ingredients, so it’s perfectly fresh feel-good food. They also have ginger beer and kombucha on tap!

Dish D’Lish

Dish D’Lish features celebrity chef Kathy Casey’s market-fresh foods (you might know them from Pike Place Market) made on-site—what they like to call Food T’ Go Go®. They have a wide selection of grab-and-go gluten-free options (like Mediterranean quinoa salad and tarragon chicken salad) to choose from.

Location: Post-security, at the end of Concourse C.

Evergreens

There are no pressed juice spots or make-your-own salad bars at the airport yet. However, healthy eatery Evergreens is opening by spring 2019!

Meditation room open 24/7

The entry to the meditation room is pretty unique with graphics preserved from the early 1970s.

A prayer/meditation room existed in the same location from 1971 through 2015, until port staffers converted it into a meeting room to address a need for space. The restored meditation room re-opened in 2017.

The meditation room features moveable chairs and open space for people to use prayer rugs or cushions. The décor is devoid of any particular religious iconography, so it feels welcoming to everyone.

Location: Mezzanine level, main terminal, pre-security side just north of security checkpoint #3

There’s also a meditation room in the Delta Airlines SkyClub lounge.

Showers

Showers are available in the Delta Airlines SkyClub lounge. There are 6 complimentary shower rooms each with a large shower, toilet, sink, and mirror. They’re modern and clean, offering a rejuvenating spot to refresh en-route.

These are the only shower facilities at the airport.

Location: Delta Airlines SkyClub lounge at the intersection of Concourses A and B.

This simple addition is a great way to take a moment to rest your feet and rock some of that airport’s stress away.

Sea-Tac has relocated the fan-favorite rocking chairs while they renovate the Central Terminal.

Location: Pre-security in the Gina Marie Lindsey Arrivals Hall.

Massage Bar

Sea-Tac’s Massage Bar offers foot and seated chair massages, provided by licensed therapists, for 15 minutes or more. You don’t need an appointment so you can get some last-minute pampering even without a booking.

Location: The North Satellite is a 256-square-foot kiosk space located at the top of the escalators across from Gate 16 and Customer Service.

Terminal Getaway Spas

Indulge in a hydrating facial, full body massage (45/60/90 mins) or mani/pedi to add a little relaxation into your itinerary.

Enjoy some art and music

Each concourse at Sea-Tac has between five and ten pieces of art installed. They range from paintings to murals and sculptures and more. It’s easy to learn more about all 65 airport art pieces as they include detailed descriptions, artist bios, fun facts, videos, and even online maps.

You can see more of the art collection via an iOS and Android app to take you on a walking tour of the collection.

Since 2012, the Port’s Experience the City of Music program has brought local artists to play for travelers seven days a week. They also run a web radio station available over the airport’s Wi-Fi. We love seeing sound and music incorporated into the vision of a healthy airport.

Airport Therapy Dog Program

At this time, the airport has a part-time dog working a couple of hours each week or every other week. They currently have a three-dog team soon to be four. They work two hours at a time and work near the Central Terminal information kiosk.

Currently, they are scheduled every other Wednesday, 4-6 pm, every other Tuesday, noon-2pm, Saturdays 10 am-noon, and Tuesdays 10 am-noon.
