Airport Hair Salons That May Blow You Away In North America (Updated 2019)

I am a believer that a blowout is the female equivalent of a shoeshine for a man. It’s practically mandatory when attending an important meeting! With a time of the essence, how is one supposed to clean up without having the perfect blowout? That’s where airport hair salons come to the rescue.

Travel writer Jo Piazza wrote an article called “Would You Get Your Hair Done in an Airport?” about her experience at the Warren-Tricomi salon at XpresSpa in New York’s LaGuardia Airport in Delta’s Terminal C. She received “…a five-minute shampoo that included an expert scalp massage and a 15-minute blowout that made [her] feel like a movie star.”

Maddie Aberman, a beauty assistant from Allure Magazine said that “arguably the most impressive aspect of the [airport] blowout was that the entire process took less than 20 minutes”.

We can conclude that you can get a decent blow out at airport hair salons in a short amount of time – just not for cheap. We all know prices at airports are prime!
