Ever wondered where all the airport showers are hiding? Us too. Many people don’t even know that airport showers exist. (Trust us, we’ve done some asking around.) But sometimes after an excruciatingly long flight, it can be a huge relief to wash away the germs of the flight.

However, not all airports have readily available showers for your convenience. But there’s no need to waste your time searching for airport showers any longer! Here are our top 10 finds.

1. Minute Suites at DFW Airport and Charlotte airport

Showers aren’t located in each private suite they rent. They offer two common shower rooms at DFW Airport. The shower comes with towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and blow dryer.

Locations: Terminal D at D23 and Terminal A at A38 at DFW Airport and CLT Airport, Atrium

2. Plaza Premium Lounge at Indira Gandhi International Airport

These airport showers are a must-visit for any travelers looking to refresh their senses. Besides providing rejuvenating showers, they also offer massages, manicures, and pedicures – among other services.

Location: Domestic Arrivals Level (after the baggage reclaim), Terminal 3
Hours: Daily, 24-hours

3. XpresSpa at Philadelphia Airport

Taking a shower is an essential part of a healthy routine, but depending on the temperature, your time spent under the water can offer different benefits. We say showering at the airport whether it is hot or cold has a ton of benefits. Everything from relaxing, better skin, and improved circulation. Go for it!

Location: Terminal C, near Gate C18

4. Shower Rooms at Haneda Airport

At Tokyo’s Haneda Airport 15 shower rooms are available 24 hours a day! It’ll cost you ¥1,030/30 min per person, and it includes towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and a hairdryer. If you want a toothbrush, razor or skincare set, it’ll cost you a little extra.

Location: Arrival Lobby, 2nd Floor
Hours: Daily, 24-hours

5.  YOTEL at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport

YOTEL has two shower cabins were passengers in transit can relax and refresh before continuing on their journey. The shower rooms can be booked for an hour and cost only 15 euros.

Location: Lounge 2 in piers D and E, next to the food court
Hours: Daily, 24-hours

The second shower location at Schiphol is at the Mercure Hotel. Shower facilities here cost € 19,50 to use, and that includes a towel and toiletries.

6. Radisson Blu Hotel at Manchester Airport

Manchester Airport offers showers in their convenient airport hotel, Radisson Blu. These airport showers are located right in the heart of the airport so you won’t have to go far! They charge a small fee of £6.50 per person to use the facilities.

Location: Terminal 2, connected to all terminals by an elevated walkway
Hours: Monday to Friday from 6:00 am, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am

7. Airport Lounges at Abu Dhabi Airport

All of the airport lounges at Abu Dhabi Airport are equipped with premium shower facilities. Whether you’re a First or Business Class passenger or simply a paying walk-in guest, you’ll be able to get fresh using their airport showers. You can find out more about their airport lounges here. There are also public showers available at Abu Dhabi Airport, free of charge.

Location: Near departure gates 32 and 37

8. Auckland Airport

As well as showers, Auckland Airport offers toiletries for purchase from the Relay and iSite Tourism Information Centre. Good news: the showers are free to use. Check out the airport maps to figure out where exactly they are.

Location: Ground floor arrivals in the International Terminal and on the first floor opposite the Air New Zealand premium check-in

9. Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport

There are shower facilities available at Sydney Airport in the international T1 terminal – and after such a long flight, they’re appreciated! There are also shower facilities located airside (passenger only access) near Gate 31, Gate 51 and Gate 24 (male only) on the departures level for free use. Only catch: You need to bring your soap and towel.

Location: Terminal 1, International Terminal, near the check-in counters A and K on the departures level

10. Freshen Up at San Francisco Airport

San Francisco Airport may have the best airport showers of all. For $25 at Freshen Up you’ll get 30 minutes in a private shower facility with shampoo, soap, lotion, shower shoes a towel and a blow-dryer all included. But if you only need a blow-dryer, clothes steamer or iron, it’ll only cost you a mere $3.

11. Roam Fitness at BWI

There are four reservable, private shower rooms— each room has a shower, sink, and toilet. One of the rooms is ADA accessible. Cost is $25 for a day pass that includes access to the showers.

Location:  Behind security, next to gate D1, D/E Connector

Hours: 5:00 – 21:00

12. Shower at Hamburg Airport 

The price is 5,00 € and includes shampoo, with a towel: 10,- €

Location: Airport Plaza, Arrivals Level, and Terminal 2, arrivals level
