Eat Well and Travel Further With HMSHost’s New Airport Wellness Pop-Ups

Airport wellness is something we’ve all struggled with. Unfortunately, it can be easier to grab a burger than get an appealing salad at the airport. Right? Well, not anymore. HMSHost has recently launched a new airport wellness program called Eat Well. Travel Well. to help you keep on track with your healthy lifestyle while traveling.

The pop-up program is running all summer long at six US airports: LAX, Chicago O’Hare, Charlotte Douglas, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Seattle-Tacoma and Orlando International Airport. If anyone knows about eating healthy at the airport, it’s us. And we’re so excited about this!

We’ve written about fresh juice bars and farm-to-table foods, but this is on another level. In keeping up with your airport wellness journey, you can get all the foods you need to stay fit. (And you don’t have to worry about your summer body because they’re all under 500 calories!) The pop-ups will feature wellness shots, KeVita juices and a selection of freshly made Bento boxes.

Eat Well. Travel Further. emphasizes our commitment to bring on-trend dining experiences to travelers that include original choices and variety,” says HMSHost President and CEO Steve Johnson.

This is the first pop-up initiative of its kind to provide travelers with much sought-after airport wellness pre-flight. Not only are the healthy options convenient to pick up while at the airport, but they’re also the perfect size to take with you on the plane. Because deep down you know buying a fresh meal right before you board is better than that bag of chips.

As well as Eat Well. Travel Further., you can find ‘Fresh Today’ signs at HMSHost’s grab-n-go locations. This lets you know what was made fresh that day! Anything that’s not sold within 24-hours is donated to a local charity for those in need. So, you can buy fresh and still feel good about not buying both salads for the flight.

Never be embarrassed by a stinky, gross airplane meal again with these fresh options! An added bonus? There are also giveaways and handouts with tips on how to stay healthy while passing through the airport.
