Vegetarian eatery Amy’s Drive-Thru has opened at San Francisco International Airport, located at Harvey Milk Terminal 1.
Amy’s Drive-Thru Instagram says this about its new airport location, “Get ready for next-level airport food for omnivores, vegans, vegetarians and gluten-free eaters alike. Think breakfast sandwiches, veggie burgers, milkshakes and more.”
Amy’s began in 1987 when there was no national certification for organic, and organic foods were hard to find. The company invested in small, local family farms to grow natural ingredients, and as Amy’s grew, so did the farms.
Amy’s Kitchen is one of the first to start the organic food movement, and Amy’s Drive-Thru first opened four years ago in Rohnert Park, California the US first organic, vegetarian fast food restaurant.
