The Air Repair Skincare Kit Is A Must For Inflight Wellness

The Air Repair Skincare Kit was created by renowned skincare expert Denise Spanek. Spanek is a licensed esthetician. She gained her extensive skincare experience as head of a San Francisco makeup and skincare studio.

What better person than Denise to create this kit? She has been working closely with skin to create products that are effective, yet free from petroleum, mineral oil, and parabens. Her products are also gluten-free and cruelty-free.

Our skin in flight tends to end up looking dry and dull. Cabins are very dry places! The lack of moisture and fresh air can really take a toll when we travel frequently.

I have been looking for something easy to carry on board that has all the essentials to keep my skin moist. The Air Repair Skincare Kit has made me fly high with smiles.

I have used the Air Repair Skincare Kit twice, on two trips. One short flight from Toronto to New York and an 8-hour flight from Toronto to Stockholm, where I went to speak at the Passenger Terminal EXPO.

The Air Repair Skincare Kit includes the following 5 must-have inflight products

1. Soothing Facial Cleansing Milk

This is a multi-tasking milky-soft cleanser, and cleans really well. I really liked this product.

I didn’t use this cleanser to remove mascara and gel liner, but it was effective in removing brow makeup.

2. Complexion Quenching Facial Mist

Face mist is an instant pick-me-up during a long-haul flight.  Each spritz on my face felt cooling and refreshing. But it also helps seal moisture in, and gives you a plumper, dewier skin look.

Did you know that face mist boosts absorption of your moisturizers? To maximize the face cream’s performance, I used it on top of a layer of face mist. The mist helps creams glide on smoothly. It also helps them penetrate more easily by giving your skin a little initial moisture boost. Moisturizer has a harder time sinking in when your face is completely dry.

3. All-Purpose Skin Salve and Lip Balm

This is such a must-have for me. The balm does not disappoint. It glides on easily and works wonders for dry, cracked lips or just keeping them moist in flight.

4. Super-Hydrating Eye Cream

I found this cream to be delicate and light and perfect for my eyes.

Here are the key ingredients:

Allantoin: Stimulates new cell growth, soothes, and heals
Aloe Vera Gel: Soothes and heals
Eyeliss and Haloxyl: Reduces the appearance of under-eye puffiness and dark circles
Green Tea and Cloudberry Seed Oil: Protects from free-radicals
Tocopherol: Heals, rejuvenates, softens, soothes, and protects

5. Complexion-Boosting Moisturizer

This moisturizer hydrates and heals dry skin, and it feels lightweight and nongreasy on the skin, so it’s ideal for those with oily skin too.

Here are the key ingredients:

Cloudberry Seed Oil and Green Tea: Protects from free-radicals
Hyaluronic Acid: Lubricates cells, hydrates, and locks in moisture
Humectants: Hydrates without creating an oily feel
Panthenol (Vitamin B): Moisturizes and revitalizes
Rose Hip: Smoothes skin and has anti-aging properties
Borage Oil: Repairs stressed and inflamed skin

The verdict

I really liked the kit. I didn’t develop an allergic reaction and none of the products irritated my skin. The superior quality of the products is evident, and they smell fresh, and feel luxuriously silky.

The Air Repair Skincare Kit is a really great option when looking for an all-encompassing travel skincare regime. I love the transparent pouch that fits all the products. It was perfect while I passed through Heathrow security. They requested all toiletries in a transparent bag — done!

The Air Repair Skincare Kit is a must for in-flight skin health. It’s perfect for frequent flyers and long-haul flights.  Have you tried the Air Repair Skincare Kit? Let us know what you thought! Tag us #itravelwell
