You Can Now Buy Hemp Edibles At Haneda Airport

A new vegan spot opened this past December at Tokyo’s International Haneda Airport.

HealthyTOKYO Cafe & Shop offers hearty salads, organic and gluten-free bread, sandwiches, quiche, lasagna, cakes and so much more. HealthyTOKYO Cafe & Shop is 100% plant-based and 100% vegan, the first of its kind at Haneda Airport.

It even sells cookies made with the hemp extract CBD! (Which is a plant, after all).

CBD oil products

The shop carries an extensive line of CBD oil products (oils, vapes, and topicals) including a HealthyTOKYO exclusive Yuzu Citrus flavor 2% CBD oil produced in cooperation with Elixinol. They also have a large menu of CBD oil infused drinks.

“The CBD cookie is the first edible of our CBD products line. We started with the coffee and expanded the CBD product line to a whole drink menu. We have always been innovating and will continue to do so: our chef is considering to expand the CBD range to other food products soon. The CBD cookie contains our ‘Black Label 4%’ oil and is chocolate-flavored.” — Lise Watanabe, Marketing at HealthyTOKYO

You will also find nuts, energy bars, bottled organic drinks, regular cookies and other easy to carry snacks and gifts.

Their baked goods are all made with organic flour, including 5 flavors of “melonpan”, a type of sweet Japanese bun.

Drinks include organic coffee and matcha, handcrafted soft drinks and craft beer.

The first 100% vegan cafe at Haneda Airport

HealthyTOKYO is proud to be the first ever 100% vegan cafe at Tokyo’s International Haneda Airport. The airport has recognized the need to respond to a desire for healthy and vegan cuisine for both locals and international travelers. This is especially important given the upcoming 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

It’s one more indication of the growing demand for plant-based and vegan spots in airports around the world, and the trend of incorporating healthy eating into busy lifestyles.

Location and hours

You’ll find HealthyTOKYO before security at Haneda Airport, so anyone can visit even if you don’t have a ticket. The airport is only 15-20 minutes from the city center.

It’s located in Terminal 2 on the third floor (Upper Deck Tokyo food area) behind the ANA check-in counters.

They’re open 365 days a year from 6:30am to 8:00pm.

So, would you buy CBD cookies at the airport?
